The Gadoli and Manda Khal Wildlife Conservation Trust was established on the 22nd of May 2010. The Trust was the brainchild of (Late) Retired Lt. Commander Trevor Harry Chowfin, a Fleet Air Arm Pilot of the Indian Navy and a veteran of the Indian Navy. He hailed from the Gadoli Fee Simple Estate in the Pauri Garhwal District of the western Himalayan state of Uttarakhand in India.

The Gadoli and Manda Khal Wildlife Conservation Trust, a non - government, non-profit charitable entity is governed by a Board of Trustees and registered under relevant Indian Laws to conserve, protect, preserve, study and restore wild flora and fauna and their habitats in a holistic manner.
​
It is at present entirely self - supporting on the defense pension of (Late) Lt. Commander Trevor Harry Chowfin.
