Mrs. Christine Margaret Chowfin

Mrs. Christine Margaret Chowfin is the Managing Trustee of The Gadoli and Manda Khal Wildlife Conservation Trust and is the wife of the (Late) Retired Lt. Cdr. Trevor Harry Chowfin. She works actively on sustainable agriculture and forest conservation issues at the grass - root level in the private forests of the Gadoli and Manda Khal Fee Simple Estates and it's landscape.

Advocate Hemang Jariwala is a prominent senior lawyer with the Bombay High Court with a deep - rooted interest in wildlife and forest preservation and conservation.

Mr. Subir Mario Chowfin

​

Mr. Subir Mario Chowfin is an independent wildlife researcher and a field biologist qualified with an M.Sc. in Forestry from the H.N.B. Garhwal University in Uttarakhand. He has undertaken research and conservation projects in India which includes species as well as habitat specific studies. His work has spanned several protected areas in India which include PAs in the Western Ghat landscape, the Central India landscape and the Corbett landscape. His work has encompassed several species like tigers, leopards, the himalayan black bear, crocodiles and birds. He is a specialist on the critically endangered and endemic crocodile - the Gharial (Gavialis gangeticus) and discovered the Corbett meta-population of the gharial in 2008.
